2009 - NPR informational advertisement was continued. The Lavender Movie Night ministry was launched.
2010 - Lavender Movie Night's first film, Brother Outsider, was shown on February 11. An open house was held at the church on August 7, and the informational film Welcome to God's House was shown.
2011 - Plexiglass panels were installed over 8 library windows to reduce heating and cooling costs.
2012-2013 - Rhema Harvest Ministries used the church building for evening services from March 2012 until April 2013.
In Fall 2013, The Accessible Materials Program was begun, with large-print versions of hymns available for use by people with visual disabilities.
2014 - Maintenance needs were resolved, including replacement of a water heater, overhead lights, a breaker box and wiring, and the installation of a new electric range in the church kitchen.
2015 - A computer was donated to the church office. The library collection was reclassified, reshelved, and re-catalogued. Library furniture was rearranged, and PNC Bank donated 12 chairs to replace older chairs. Several 12-step groups meeting in the library continued to use the book collection.
2016 - In July, Rev. Susan Lowe celebrated 20 years of pastoring in Tuscaloosa. In November, the library roof was repaired using a polyurethane foam layer covered with an Elastomeric coating. In December God's House began our annual participation in the West Alabama Christmas Parade.
2017 - On August 5, a staged reading of the musical Scooter and the Ferals of Caternity Row was performed at the church. Cat food donations were collected for the Humane Society of West Alabama's cat food pantry.
2018 - On July 15, Tim King began a new regular preaching engagement on the third Sunday of each month. On August 5, guest minister Karen Ann Edwards helped us celebrate God's House's 16th anniversary with word and song. Also in August, new LED bulbs were installed in church and library lights. Christmas donations were collected for Ditch Kittens in Need of Care, a new medical nonprofit for feral cats.
